First of all let’s define power point, power point is a program, a useful tool that is often used to perform a presentation. The power presentation is usually displayed in a large screen for everyone to see. The presentation will include slides that contain pictures as well as words, sometimes the slides will come in with special effects, such as sounds, and motion effects. Though a power point presentation may seem like a good strategy to bring an audience’ attention it can still be proposed incorrectly.
A poor power presentation is often due to the lack of effort put into a power point presentation since a power point presentation can be done easily, you simply add slides, decide what you want to paste on the slide, and their you have it, a power point presentation. When you have a poor power point presentation you are simply wasting the audience’ time, think of all the reasons why poor power presentation are created, and consider where the pictures are used from the generic clipart folder.
The use of these pictures has obviously been seen by the audience over and over again, that’s if the person proposing the power point presentation kept pasting those pictures from the clip art folder to his or her slides in the power point presentation.
It is certain that the use of these pictures will automatically lose the audience’ interest; the audience will simply say that it’s another one of those power point presentations, signifying that it is a poor power point presentation.
By creating a poor power point presentation you send the message or impression that the audience is not considered important to you, and so it gave you the reason to create the power point presentation with a lack of effort. This is one of the reasons why you should make a more of an effort to create these power point presentations than lacking with effort simply by using pictures already installed with the power point program. Remember that you want your presentation to look as professional as possible
Once again the use of laptops is not recommended for a large audience, thus is important you avoid using them, for that way everyone can enjoy viewing the power point presentation and hearing the sound affects. How to create a good Power Point Presentation
When creating a power point presentation, don’t use pictures from the generic clip art, instead explore for more pictures from either the internet, or from a snapshot with your camera. This will definitely not bore the audience and will capture the audience’ eyes.
When you are searching for pictures, try to look for pictures that are relevant to the presentation’s topic. For instance if you are presenting a topic that haves to do with Sales it would be more reasonable if you include a picture that has to do with money like a dollar bill, coins, dollar sign, etc

Take in deep consideration the useful techniques mentioned, it is without question that your power point presentation will interest the audience and at the same time release important information that will benefit the audience if you where to apply these techniques.
